SmartWatt Energy, a leading provider of turnkey, integrated design-build energy-efficiency solutions, will be exhibiting at California Association of School Business Officials’ (CASBO) 2015 Annual Conference & California School Business Expo at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA March 30th-April 2nd, 2015. SmartWatt is working with K-12 and community college clients throughout the state to design and build lighting and HVAC projects in compliance with Proposition 39.

Staff from SmartWatt’s engineering department, based in their California offices, will be exhibiting. Representatives from County Offices of Education, District Superintendents, Education Administrators and Facilities Managers are encouraged to visit the SmartWatt team at booth 335 to discuss their facilities’ energy cost and efficiency challenges, Proposition 39 questions or concerns, and the strategies SmartWatt has implemented to streamline and provide transparency throughout their energy-efficiency projects.

The CASBO 2015 Annual Conference & California School Business Expo gathers school business leaders from California school districts, county offices and institutional facilities, as well as experts in school construction including engineers, contractors, law and financial advisors and other associated vendors. This four-day event gathers over 1,250 attendees for 200 educational workshop sessions detailing the latest legislation affecting California school facilities, roundtable and best practice discussion, numerous networking events including both a gala and tour of the historic USS Midway, and a trade show where school representatives may connect with over 200 vendors with ideas to improve both the capacity and efficiency of California school facilities. This year’s event will focus on education reforms and new assessments, upcoming funding offerings and available bonds, and how schools can continue to meet their facilities needs by maximizing existing funding opportunities like those available under Proposition 39.
